Pastels are produced from pure pigment with only enough binder to make
them into sticks. They are the purest form of artist color. Pastels will not fade over time & if framed properly can last indefinitely.

A portrait for me is not a quick process. I deliver accuracy, and fine detail
as well as brilliant color.

Composition, facial features, clothing are all key to bringing a portrait to life, but the most important part is the eyes. The old saying "The eyes are the windows to the soul" has strong meaning to me. The expression in the eyes must be vibrant, and alive.

I have many ribbons, and best of show awards. I also have nine years of formal training in art. I have studied privately, and at the university level.
